Larry Crane is passionate about growing businesses that improve the quality of people's lives. After a decade in the graphic arts industry, and another decade in the nonprofit sector, he was inspired to launch prolifica.org in 2004.
Professional Experience
An active member of the American Association of Grant Professionals and the National Grantwriters Association, Larry has served as an Executive Director, Development Director and Grant Manager for community and faith-based organizations and for a large nonprofit healthcare system.
Education
Mr. Crane earned an MBA and a Masters in Health Services Administration (MSHA) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His undergraduate degree is from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a B.A. in International Studies.
Community Involvement
Larry is a graduate of Leadership Columbus, Class of 2004. He has served as a Loaned Executive to the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, an Allocations Team leader and Employee Giving Campaign Chair, and as a grant-making panelist for the Community Foundation of the Chattahoochee Valley. He has been active in the membership campaign of the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce and in the March of Dimes Men-In-Labor fundraiser. He is a past board member of School-to-Work and the West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition. He has coached soccer for several years with the Columbus Youth Soccer Association and has served as Advisor to a Medical Explorer Post of the Chattahoochee Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He worships at Christ Community Church and is actively involved in a dynamic home-fellowship group.
Larry is celebrating 22 years of marriage with his wife, Jane Crane, M.S.P.T. (Physical Therapist). They have two curly-headed, precious children, Lauren (age 10) and Benjamin (age 7).

Laura Davis
Operations Manager
Laura Davis joined prolifica.org in 2007 as Operations Manager to assist in the area of project planning, production scheduling and documenting and improving business processes. Laura shares our passion for improving the quality of peoples lives by advancing the cause of nonprofits. She is dedicated to increasing our impact by helping us grow as an organization.
Professional Experience
Laura served nearly a decade in the United States Army as a Medical Service Corps Officer managing people and medical logistics operations that supported the readiness and combat health support of U.S. and coalition forces. After her last tour of duty in Kuwait in 2006, Captain Davis made the transition from military to civilian life in order to have more time with her family.
Education
Mrs. Davis earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, earning a B.S. in Psychology. She graduated Cum Laude as a member of the Alpha Society and as a Distinguished Military Graduate. She is currently enrolled in the Entrepreneur Development Certificate Program presented by the University of Georgia's Small Business Development Center, The Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce and the Columbus Technology Incubator.
Community Involvement
Laura volunteers with the Pioneer Little League and participates in fund-raising events for Blanchard Elementary School. She is also a member of the Family Readiness Group of 14th Combat Support Hospital located at Fort Benning, GA.
Laura is married to Sergeant First Class Johnny Davis and they share three beautiful children together, Brooke (age 15), Jerica (age 13) and Grant (age 10).
